My research lies at the intersection of strategic management and international business, with a focus on corporate social responsibility and gender diversity. I study how and why firms leverage their resources to engage in corrupt activities at home and abroad. In another area, I study workers' perceptions of women as leaders. My interests in these areas began with observations of how firms react to the norms of irresponsible practices and gender-based discriminatory phenomena in Vietnam, where I grew up.
